These terms apply when you buy from A Cozier Cottage at us-acoziercottage.com. By placing an order you agree to them.
Who you are buying from
A Cozier Cottage, an online shop operated from Landsmeer, the Netherlands. You can reach us through our contact page.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it by email. If an item turns out to be unavailable, or a price or description was clearly wrong, we may decline or cancel the order and refund you in full. We do not accept orders from outside the United States.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and include the amount we charge for the item. Shipping is free within the United States. Sales tax is added at checkout where we are required to collect it. Payment is taken when you order. We do not use compare-at pricing: the price you see is the price.
Products
We describe each piece as accurately as we can, using the information our suppliers give us. Hand-finished and natural materials vary: stone and travertine differ in color, pores and banding, and dimensions can vary slightly. Product photos are of the item itself; screens show color differently.
Lighting and installation
Lighting is supplied with the bulb and fitting stated on the product page and is rated for standard US household voltage where the page says so. Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a qualified electrician in line with local electrical codes. We are not responsible for installation work carried out by you or a third party.
Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery times, returns and refunds are set out in our Shipping policy and Returns & Refunds policy, which form part of these terms.
Use of the site
The text, photos and layout on this site belong to A Cozier Cottage or are used with permission. Do not copy them for commercial use. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or place fraudulent orders.
Liability
We are responsible for the shop and the orders we take. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit or time off work, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for faulty goods or your statutory consumer rights.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
